Our standard size for borders is approx. 90 mm width and approximately 900 - 1000 mm length (depending on the design chosen). We are able to manufacture in virtually all thicknesses relevant to the flooring industry. Borders can be made to fit into any floor. Be it parquetry, T & G boards, Strip flooring, mosaic etc. We are also happy to custom design and manufacture borders to your specifications. When ordering please state 'FD' or FL' - this meaning 'For dark or for light' floors. E.g. For a jarrah floor (dark) you would choose 'FD', which always has a light coloured timber as strips along the side, thus providing the contrast to the darker jarrah. This system is to make it easier for you. But as always, the customer rules!
We can manufacture your border to virtually any length required, so that no cutting to size (e.g. Mirror-cut or cutting in of corners) is necessary on site. If you provide us with the size of a square/rectangle made up of border strips, we'll be able to manufacture to the required size (pattern repeat needs to be taken into consideration)- no more cutting or fitting on site - and no joints visible! A small extra charge will be made.
Corners are made to match the borders in size and our standard size corner would match our standard, approximately 90 mm wide, border. Other sizes are also available on request. The same information as in 'Borders' applies to corners.
